Divine Intervention in America

Regardless of who you are, any rational human being realizes that we are comprised of both human and spiritual elements. And if this awareness is a part of your schema, you probably have had one of those “ah ha” moments. We as a country have had many of those moments. As I point out in my book, Grassroots Girl, it manifests as a “space between notes” moment when within that pause a suspension of time and spirit occurred as one chapter ended, and another began.” That inflection moment from what we knew to what is new.

The last time this happened occurred in 2020. First with the “flatten the curve” joke and then during the Presidential Election, when all the counting shutdown in unison in the seven suspect states involved. Some of us knew in those moments that the worst was happening and would open a rabbit’s hole of destruction to our country the like we haven’t seen in our lifetime.

But these last three and half years have been building to Saturday July 13, 2024. I believe the left (including Democrats and elitist establishment Republicans) utilizing the media staged a coup to usurp the 2020 election. The question that haunts me is “why?”. What did they think would happen? On day one, Biden at his master’s bidding, began to dismantle and unravel President Trump’s policy safety net and successful achievements. Was it out of jealousy because Trump was the only President with resolve and depth of character to stand up to the swamp and globalists and take the action that every President since Reagan would not? When deconstructed, this behavior comes down to human shortcomings and feelings. Jealousy, avarice, and a base desire to control through permanent power. The individual’s own legacy instead of the legacy of a country and it’s culture. These individuals disregard the society in which they were called to serve.

To lead one must lead with humility first. I know a lot of people regard President Trump as lacking in humility. But I think perhaps we all have humility. It’s just a matter of how often we defer to it. After all we are only human. So maybe it does take an act of God, Divine Intervention, to get us back on track. To walk the walk we’re all called to take. President Trump was called to an extraordinary path. His is a path of leadership. I see President Trump as having gone through a series of “come to Jesus” talks with God. In fact, we have all traveled through those “spiritual locks” navigating the waters of our lives. Sometimes we’re negotiating rapids; sometimes we’re floating on the lazy lagoon. But for those called to leadership, especially that of the free world, I would caution, to pay attention to those rapids and God’s whispers.

Saturday was a day full of God’s wonder and awe. For me, I was sidelined from my attending and working that Trump rally in my area. The only one I missed since 2015. But God has a plan. And I believe He took the wheel of Mr. Trump’s wild ride the night of his debate. According to a friend who was at the rally “the wind shifted moments before President Trump was shot”, that and his head turn saved his life. You as the reader can surmise your own cause of this outcome. But as for me, I’m ok to say there is a God and thank him it isn’t me.

As for the Democrats, who started this with their never-ending quest for control and power in perpetuity (see my previous post The Long Hot Summer of Joe Biden and his Democrats) their hubris and arrogance has prevented them from owning every jackpot they’ve found themselves in and have dragged our country through. I take no joy over the tragic results of the Democrats consequence of power grabs. I am an American before party affiliation. And I opine here that anyone who is blessed to call themselves an American who witnessed the events of last Saturday is now changed. We all must admit that this spiritual war of biblical proportions is better fought with us united behind the extraordinary man called to lead. America was founded on divine intervention. And has been saved once again by divine intervention. We’re not out of the woods yet. I put nothing past the Democrats in league with Marxist globalists and the media minions, reacting like a trapped animal. But the winds of change have shifted. Is it the breath of God’s whisper? I’m sticking with the two big guys on this one.
